At All Souls NYC we offer a variety of enriching programs and activities for the youngest members of our church community and their families. The hallmark of these are our Religious Education and Enrichment classes which take place on Sunday mornings from 10 AM-11 Am and 11:15-12:15 PM. We also have a number ofcommunity events and meetups throughout the city--we will be posting some for Spring 23 shortly. Our programs for children and youth are under the supervision of the Director of Religious Education, Dr. Chris Rogutsky. The Children’s Religious Education (RE) committee and other church members assist in planning and carrying out the programs.
Drawing inspiration from the amazing artists in this cultural mecca, the All Souls NYC Religious Education program seeks to use the arts as a vehicle for spiritual strengthening. A number of exciting artistic residencies are planned for 22-23 RE Year, including with the Vashti Theatre and Dance group and interdisciplinary artist Rich Garr.
The All Souls music program has long been considered among the very best in NYC. From its international award-winning music director, to the talent of the professional choir, to the joy of the Community Choir - if you love music, you'll love All Souls. During the Religious Education enrichment hour, children have an opportunity to work with the All Soul's Children's Choir. This provides an amazing opportunity to make new friends and perform at several concerts both at All Souls and beyond throughout the year.
Religious Education programming officially began on September 18th, 2022 and continues through the year (it's never too late to join!). Specific events are listed on this website and in the RE newsletter. For more information and to be added to our family email groups, contact Dr. Chris Rogutsky at chrisr@allsoulsnyc.org.
